Leticia M. Holleman, Psy.D., LICSW

Leticia M. Holleman, Psy.D., LICSW, has been a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Washington since 2019 (License #LW60861543) and is currently working toward completion of her psychologist licensure. Dr. Holleman completed an APA accredited doctoral program in counseling psychology from Northwest University, Kirkland in 2023 and graduated summa cum laude. She also completed a one-year APA accredited internship with the National Psychology Training Consortium – Great Lakes Region in Indiana, where she provided broad spectrum care for individuals in community health centers, hospitals, corrections centers, and schools. Additionally, she received specialized training as an embedded emotional support services team member at the Culver Military Academy, an elite college preparatory boarding school, where she provided mental health services for high school-aged students enrolled from 20 countries and 40 states.

Dr. Holleman earned her Bachelor of Social Science degree from University of Maryland in 2009 and worked at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute, focused on treatment models to support adolescents struggling with depression, addiction, and obesity. She later returned to school and completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at the University of Washington, Seattle campus in 2013, where she focused on healthcare and co-occurring disorders.

Dr. Holleman previously worked as a social worker at the VA Medical Center in Seattle since 2014. She has worked with individuals presenting with emotional and behavioral challenges (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder), personality disorders (e.g., paranoid, schizoid, schizotypal, antisocial, borderline, histrionic, narcissistic, avoidant, dependent and obsessive-compulsive), neurologically-based challenges (e.g., traumatic brain injuries, concussions), and chemical dependency across a variety of settings – including primary care, inpatient medical, community – and, most recently in case management in the Housing and Urban Development/VA Supportive Housing (HUD/VASH) department, working with Veterans and their families to move from homelessness to long-term housing, creating employment and vocational opportunities, and stabilizing their medical and mental health needs.
Dr. Holleman’s passion for veterans stems from being a military spouse of twenty-five years and traversing the country with four children, the oldest son also serving in the U.S. Navy. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and providing therapeutic support for a variety of mental health challenges including trauma, stress responses related to PTSD, C-PTSD, MST, grief and loss, interpersonal relationship and communication difficulties caused from painful life experiences. Utilizing Forward Facing Trauma Therapy (FFTT) as the primary framework, the client is supported in learning techniques to counteract maladaptive coping mechanisms and move toward a sense of joy, self-worth, and personal integrity.
Dr. Holleman is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Washington State Psychological Association (WSPA), and the National Association for Social Workers (NASW). She is in the process of credentialing to be a preferred provider for many insurance companies in the Puget Sound area.

In her spare time, Dr. Holleman enjoys jogging, hiking, biking, and fishing. She also loves to read, cook new recipes, and travel, and she has visited Italy, Israel, Australia, and Africa. She is already dreaming of future trips and faraway destinations!
